Meet Me
OWNER, THERAPIST, CONSULTANT
Melody Wollgren, LCSW
Hi, I’m Melody, a biracial Korean and white psychotherapist, second-generation daughter of an immigrant, and someone who deeply values the power of identity, story, and healing.
In my practice, I work with adults—especially those who live at the intersections of multiple identities. I have a special focus on working with BIPOC and multiracial clients who are exploring racial identity, processing racial and intergenerational trauma, or simply navigating what it means to move through the world in a body and identity that may not always feel fully seen or understood.
I also work extensively with transgender clients and am committed to offering a space that is safe, affirming, and grounded in respect. While I’m not a member of the LGBTQ community myself, I consider it a privilege to support folks across the spectrum of gender and sexual identity in their healing.
I'm EMDR certified and offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for clients seeking a deeper level of trauma work. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed care. I believe that healing happens in safe relationships—and that your story deserves to be held with care and curiosity.
I primarily see individuals, but I’m also welcoming more couples into my practice—especially those navigating cultural or identity-based challenges, communication breakdowns, or trauma within the relationship.
While I often work with trauma-related symptoms, I do not treat major depression or substance dependence as primary diagnoses.
Above all, I believe that healing is possible—even if it’s felt out of reach. You don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you in reclaiming your voice, your story, and your path forward.
